What Christians believe chapter 3 Original sin

What Christians believe chapter 3 Original sin

Watch this space. I intend to write about the beliefs of Christians on Original sin and inbred sin. One is the consequence of the other.
I hope to demonstrate from the New and Old Testaments ie the Jewish Scriptures and the Christian Scriptures that although the sin of Adam was forgiven, nevertheless the effects of that sin come down to us today through our human natures.
We must bear in mind (1) that this belief of original and inbred sin was the established belief of the Jewish church throughout the Old Testament era and (2) That this belief was the doctrine of the established early church from the apostles onwards. (3) That at the time of Christ most of the Jews had strayed from this belief of original sin and is denied by most Jews of today. (4) The apostle Paul (Saul) re-established this original doctrine by demonstrating from the Jewish Scriptures of its truth. In fact most of the New Testament is the revival of the original beliefs of God's Prophets throughout the OT era. So hopefully I will be writing about this in the near future. It is about time as it must seem that I had forgotten about my original intention of stating the beliefs of the establish Christian church.

It's interesting how Christianity may differ from Islam in this aspect. I really don't speak out of authority, but my view of Islam is that it teaches that sin is actually a learned behavior, that comes from separating oneself from God, the idea of sort of covering one's true godlike nature. The Christian view, again not speaking from authority, is that people are natural sinners "let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Hi Jamal. Yes that is what Christians believe. Although they also teach that it is a learned behaviour as well. But have you noticed that people will learn bad things easier than they will good things? And how a baby will have a whole family running around after its needs? But I've nearly finished the article now and I hope things will become clearer.
